Research Interest

His research activities include cDNA-microarray technology to study gene regulation during pathophysiological conditions of the nervous system, the identification of the mechanisms responsible for learning and memory consolidation through genome scale screening in a variety of behavioural paradigms and animal models of cognition disorders. This innovative approach provides information on the gene expression changes that occur during learning and memory and points towards new molecular cascades and therapies which may improve memory under normal conditions as well as in disorders that affect cognitive functioning.
