Rima Dada

Biography

Dr Rima Dada did MBBS & MD from Maulana Azad Medical College and PhD in Genetics from AIIMS, N Delhi. She is presently working as Professor at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, N Delhi where she established the Laboratory of Molecular Reproduction and Genetics. She is actively engaged in teaching, research and genetic diagnostic services. Dr Dada is pursuing research on genetic aspects of infertility, reproductive failure and recurrent ART failure and idiopathic recurrent spontaneous abortion. Dr Dada has received several national and International awards- the ICMR national award for outstanding contribution in the field of genetics of infertility. She has also received young scientist award at 2nd European American Course in Clinical genetics in Croatia(1999), GP Talwar Gold Medal (2007) and Best paper award at Indian Society for research in reproduction meeting and Best paper award at 33rd Annual Congress of Indian Society of Andrology in Dec 2007. She won the best poster award at American Society of Andrology meeting in 2009, 2010 ,2011and 2012 and also best paper award at International Symposium on Genetics of infertility at Salt Lake City, USA in 2010. Dr. Dada has published more than 95 original articles, 45 chapters in books and DBT workshop manual and over 100 abstracts in American or European and international meetings/journals. Dr Dada is a member of various professional societies and an ad-hoc reviewer for several national and international indexed scientific journals.
