In March 1992 she passed successfuly the fully board certified specialisation (attestation) in ophthalmology. Since November 1993 she has been serving at the Department of Ophthalmology University Hospital and Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Hradec Králové. She takes part in teaching students of the Medical Faculty, Charles University in Hradec Králové in both Undergraduate and Postgraduate Study Programes. She became an associated profesor in 2004 (the topic of my work was Intraocular implants).Professor in ophthalmology in 2009 ( the topic of my work was AlphaCor – artifical cornea)
Cataracts with IOLs (more than 15 000 surgeries), corneal transplantation, keratoprosthesis implantation, glaucoma surgery, optic nerve sheath decompression, scleroplasty and oculoplastic surgery. She is active in the field of neuroophthalmology
