Hassan I. H. El-Sayyad was born on May 1951 in El-Mehalla El-Kubra, EGYPT. He completed his B.Sc. in Zoology May 1974 in Zoology Department, Faculty of Science, Mansoura University. M.Sc. in Zoology 14 May 1979, Zoology Department, Faculty of Science, Mansoura University. Thesis title :" Histopathological and histochemical studies on bilharzial pigment". Ph.D. in Experimental Embryology 30/6/1983, Zoology Department, Faculty of Science, Mansoura University. Thesis title :" Experimental studies on the embryonic development of albino mice in nicotine-treated mothers".He is a member of International Society for Developmental Origin of Health and Disease, Egyptian J. of histology, Egyptian German Society of zoology ( Cairo University, Arab Union Biologist ( Cairo University), Egyptian J. of Zoology and Egyptian Society of Experimental Biology. The research interest deals with studying the environmental and diseased factors involved in the induction of congenital anomalies either morphologically ,anatomically or in the skeletal elements. Histogenesis of affected body organs are determined at the light microscopical level as well as at SEM and TEM levels. Molecular analysis of growth defects are involved in the study especially during pre-& postnatal life. Besides the reproductive toxicity of the applied environmental agents as well as diseases including Rheumatoid arthritis, Phenylketonuria and hypercholesterolemia were involved in our study. The hazardous effects of feeding on fried potatoes chips were assessed for teratogenicity and impairment of both cerebellar cortex and muscle development. Different natural plant extracts are applied for resoluting the drastic effect of diseases like rheumatoid arthritis and hypercholesterolemia as well as to ameliorate the hepato-toxicity, nephrotoxicity, cardiotoxicity as well as birth defects of acrylamide and fried potatoes chips. The hazardous effects of feeding on fried potatoes chips were assessed for impairing both cerebellar cortex and muscle development.
