Deafness

It is hearing loss also known as hard of hearing, anacusis or hearing impairment. It is a partial or total inability to hear. It may occur either in one or both ear. In children the problem to hear can affect the ability to learn language and in adults it can lead to work related difficulties. It is generally used to refer to those with low or no hearing.
