had the chance to work with a good research team in Germany. I could also work with a top research institute in my country also. Currently, I am doing my research in India's tertiary hospital, NIMHANS Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Research Interest

 Extinction as a Therapeutic Tool for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and for various Mood Disorders. Use of Early Maternal Separation Stress as an Animal Model to Unravel the Neural circuits and the cellular mechanisms underpinning passive (extinction) and active (emotion regulation) strategies to regulate adult behavioral changes. Pavlovian Classical Fear conditioning as an animal model.
• Brain plasticity mechanisms and functional recovery following ischemic injury.
