Lau Sie Kuei Matthew

Biography

Assistant Professor Lau, MBBS, M. Med (O&G), MRCOG, FAMS, graduated in Medicine from the University of Melbourne in 2000.  He joined Singapore Healthcare since 2001.  He is consultant in Department of Reproductive Medicine, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.  He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Duke University – National University of Singapore Graduate Medical School. Throughout his years of career, Assistant Professor Lau is the recipient of numerous awards such as best medical officer award, best BST award, SingHealth medical award, Best registrar award, EXSA and Singapore Health Quality service award.   He went to Australia in 2010 under Singhealth Health Manpower Development Plan Award to undergo training in Andrology in Reproductive Medicine.  Since his return, he was instrumental in setting up new services in Reproductive Andrology.  In 2013, Dr Lau was awarded Team-based HMDP award to Denmark for Fertility Preservation and Cryopreservation of Human Ovarian Tissue.  Assistant Professor Lau is also actively participating in research and is involved in numerous research project and grant.
