Biography
Dr. Juan Cristina is 53 years old; He has a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of the Republic and a doctorate in Molecular Biology from the Autonomous University of Madrid.
He completed his postdoctoral training at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases of the National Institute of Health in the United States. He currently directs the CIN of the Faculty of Sciences and is in charge of the Molecular Virology Laboratory, in whose creation he had an active participation.
