He is the Principal Investigator of the Macular Pigment Research Group, Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland. My research group studies the role of eye nutrition for vision and prevention of blindness. He presented at over 60 international scientific conferences and have published 45 peer-reviewed scientific papers on the topic. His research interests reflect in wide range of publications in various national and international journals. He is the Editorial Board Member of Journal of Clinical & Experimental Ophthalmology and serves as a member of various associations.
