John D Shepherd is a well-known researcher working in Department of Haemotology, University of Columbia, His major interests have included the chemotherapy of acute myeloid leukemia with a sub interest in the therapy of acute myeloid leukemia in elderly patients; the use of autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplantation in non-leukemic lymphoid malignancies (non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, multiple myeloma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia); and the supportive care of patients undergoing intensive therapy with bone marrow support.
