Biography
Prof. Gunton is a statistical physicist whose current research interests are in the general field of pattern formation in nonlinear, nonequilibrium systems. This encompasses a wide range of fundamental and practical problems in several interdisciplinary fields. He started his academic career at University of Western Australia, continuing with Temple University from 1968 and Lehigh University since 1988. His research work has been carried out with grants from institutions in Japan, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and US.
