Biography
Ingar Leiros is Professor in Structural Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, UiT The Arctic University of Norway. His research in general is on functional and structural characterisation of enzymes and enzyme products involved in environmental adaptation. Other projects focus on cold-adaptation of enzymes, proteins involved in DNA modification and repair, antibiotic resistance proteins as well as more general enzyme functions as proteases, lipases and cellulases.
