Dr. Heng Hao Tan is currently a Head & Consultant and accredited IVF specialist in the Department of Reproductive Medicine, Division of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital. In 2005, he obtained his specialist qualification from MMED O&G (Spore) where he was awarded the IV Asian Congress (O&G) Gold Medal. In 2006, he obtained his Membership to the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, London.
Having completed his advanced endoscopic APAGE fellowship under Prof Lee Chyi Long in 2009, he is also an accredited advanced endoscopist, keen in further developing the field of reproductive surgery.
Besides his clinical work, his interest includes transvaginal hydrolaparoscopy in subfertile women and is currently involved in numerous clinical researches within the department. Ongoing is his involvement as a co-investigator in the study on “Pathogenesis and basic biology of endometriosis”, in collaboration with MIT.
