				 Clonazepam is an anticonvulsant connected with high affinity to benzodiazepine receptors and effective through GABA (Gamma-aminobutyric acid) and serotonin. Poisoning related to Clonazepam is frequently encountered in the literature. However, cases described a hyperamylasemia have not been reported.
