Dr. Asaf Achiron

Biography

Asaf Achiron is an ophthalmology resident at the Edith Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, Israel. He has received several grants for studying peripheral blood molecular markers in optic neuritis, the effect of resonant breathing biofeedback on intra-ocular pressure, and the use of metamorphopsia scores to predict the treatment success rate for patients given anti-VEGF injections. Several of Achiron’s ophthalmic publications are currently circulating the globe, but he himself has never even been to Valencia.
