Dr. Dismas Matovelo MMed, MD is an obstetrician/gynecologist at Bugando Hospital in Mwanza, Tanzania who has been practicing for 13 years. Currently the Associate Director for Postgraduate Studies at the Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences (CUHAS), Dismas has undertaken twelve research studies on risk factors in maternity and five additional reproductive health studies, publishing in several peer-reviewed journals such as BioMed Central and the Annals of Medical and Health Sciences Research.
