Doctorate in Ophthalmology from the University of the Basque Country.Doctor Acera has broad experience in research with clinical applications. While running the R&D Department at the Instituto Clínico Quirúrgico de Oftalmología (ICQO: Clinical-Surgical Institute of Ophthalmology), she completed her doctoral thesis in the field of ophthalmology. She has published articles in magazines that have great impact in the fields of Ophthalmology and Neurosciences. She is part of the Bioftalmik management team and is responsible for the Services Unit as well as clinical relations.
