The doctor. Alfredo Adam is one of the most important professionals in the specialty of ophthalmology, which has always maintained a leading position both in the health care setting and in research and teaching. Currently, dr. Adam plays his career as Head of Ophthalmology and director of the Institute of Ophthalmology of the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona and its academic activity as Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Barcelona. Committed to research, it maintains open several lines on new treatments for diseases such as diabetic retinopathy or uveitis.
Dr. Adam often participates in conferences and international congresses. He is currently a member of various societies and President of the Spanish Society of Ocular Inflammation.
He was a founding member of the Institute of Ocular Microsurgery (IMO) in Barcelona, ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹where he served as a partner for over 15 years.
His practice has focused on subspecialties of uveitis and retinal, which is recognized nationally and internationally.
