The role of parents in supporting cognitive development

Cognitive development involves the progression and maturation of a child's mental and cognitive skills. While schools and teachers are vital components of this development, parents are equally instrumental in nurturing their child's cognitive growth. Here's a closer look at the ways parents influence their child's cognitive development:

Parents are the first teachers, introducing their children to language, shapes, colors, and the world around them. Engaging in activities that stimulate the brain, such as reading, storytelling, and interactive play, can have a profound impact on a child's cognitive development.
