INTRODUCTION

The Journal of Advances in Dairy Research is an international Journal of high-standing that publishes original scientific research on all aspects of the biology, wellbeing and technology of lactating animals and the foods they produce. The Journal’s ability to cover the entire dairy foods chain is a major strength. Cross-disciplinary research is particularly welcomed, as is comparative lactation research in different dairy and non-dairy species and research dealing with consumer health aspects of dairy products. Journal of Dairy Research: an international Journal of the lactation sciences. Advances in Dairy Research deals with Dairy and animal breeding, Physiology, Cell biology and endocrinology of lactation, animal science, milk production and composition, Biotechnology and food technology, properties of milk proteins, dairy products and relevant studies in bacteriology, enzymology and immunology, the use of milk products in other foods, and the development of methods related to Dairy Science.

The journal process articles through Editorial Tracking System for quality publication in rapid peer review process. Editorial Tracking is an online manuscript submission system which reviews and processes the articles and makes it easy for author, editor and reviewers to work simultaneously with easier review strategies and protocols. Review process is executed by the editorial board members of Advances in Dairy Research or outside experts; at least two independent reviewer’s approval is mandatory followed by editor approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript. Authors can have a track on their valuable submissions any time to finally co-operate for processed article submission. Online system entitles the reviewers to download the relevant manuscripts and submit their opinions to the editor. Editor can manage and monitor the complete submission/review/revise/final publication process. A total of 110 research scientists from all over the world reviewed the 19 articles published in volume 9. Average publication lag time of an article was further reduced to 2- 3 weeks. Advances in Dairy Research also announces its new association with Longdom Publishing Group group for Archiving, Journal maintenance, financial purpose and support. Journal runs its website https://www.longdom.org/advances-dairy-research.html parallel for Editorial and review work process so as to maintain its highest standard of scientific work. Association with Longdom Publishing Group has increased Readership Metrics (By Google Analytics) of Advances in Dairy Research which can be accessed at Google Analytics Metrics for the Advances in Dairy Research.

Ibrahim (USA), Photis Papademas (Cyprus) during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by the editorial assistants: Dr Jerry Pinto, Maria Sophia and Li Ma in bringing out issues of ADR in time.
