Biography
Jiatong Zhuo is a professor and deputy director of Guangxi Autonomous Region, Center for Disease Control and Prevention. He has spent most of his scientific career in childhood vaccine-preventable diseases. Under his effort, Guangxi's autonomous region reached the goal of being polio-free in 2000. He created this new strategy to select high-risk counties with the interval of winter epidemics of historic surveillance data and carrying mass campaigns in the subtropic area. Professor Jiatong Zhuo is the Adjunct Professor of Guangxi Medical University and also is the MPH advisor of Rollins School of Public Health Emory.
