Winter J Research interests: H. pylori is a Gram negative microaerophilic bacterium which causes inflammation, ulceration and cancer in the human stomach. I am interested in the role of membrane vesicles in H. pylori pathogenesis and the interaction of H. pylori with the human immune system. Expertise: Molecular biology, protein purification and characterisation, infection studies, immunological assays, tissue culture and in vitro assays.
