Biography
Dr.Vladimir Novitsky, M.D., Ph.D., is a Visiting Scientist in the Department of Immunology and Infectious Diseases at the Harvard School of Public Health. He made a number of significant contributions to the virological and immunological study of HIV-1 infection. The main focus of Dr. Novitsky’s research is molecular analysis of the HIV-1 subtype C epidemic, genotypic and phenotypic characterization of the HIV-1 subtype C genome, and potential associations between virological and immunological parameters in early and acute HIV-1 subtype C infection.
