Biography

Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h.c. Vera Regitz-Zagrosek, MD  Cardiologist and founder of the Institute of Gender in Medicine at Charite, Berlin, and of the International Society Gender Medicine (IGM). She has published more than 200 scholarly articles, over 30 book chapters and two European standard works on gender medicine and gender-specific drug therapy. Set up the only German curriculum for gender medicine in a medical study program at the Charité Berlin, as well as a gender database and an e-learning program.
