Dr. Thalita Rocha took her degree in Biological Sciences (2002) and Master in Cellular and Molecular Biology (2004), both titles obtained at Universidade Estadual Paulista "Julio de Mesquita Filho" UNESP; PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the State University of Campinas UNICAMP (2008), was part of his thesis and his post-doc (2009) at Newcastle University (UK). She has experience in morphology, with emphasis in Cell Biology and Histology. She initially developed research in the area of ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹Internal Morphology of insects, specifically Hymenoptera: Vespidae (Polistes versicolor). She is currently investigating the potential toxinológicos wasp venom (São Paulo Polybia) and snakes (Bungarus, Bothrops); its direct and / or indirect action on the mechanisms of cell death (necrosis and apoptosis),myotoxicity and tissue regeneration, and neurotoxicity (direct action at the neuromuscular junction). Since August / 2009 Minister of Cell Biology and Tissue classes, Biochemistry, Histology and Embryology at the University San Francisco (USF) to various health courses, including Medicine and Dentistry. He is currently accredited to Master's and Doctoral Program in Health Sciences.
