Dr. Sheila holds a PhD in Public Health, with a concentration in Toxicology and Risk Assessment, a carry-over from her earlier life as a hospital and community Pharmacist. Her dissertation research project included healthcare data from the Florida Workers’ Compensation Board and it is expected that the results of this study will be instrumental in enacting legislation to help prevent injuries in the workplace in general, and more specifically within the healthcare sector. Dr. Sheila is a published Scientist and an Independent Medical Examiner who does consulting work for many companies.
