Biography
María Barandalla done her PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology by Utrecht University, with 5 years experience in embryology and stem cells signalling pathways. She worked as a Junior Postdoc at Humanitas Clinical and Research Center for the study of signal transductions in cardiac pathologies. In particular, I was involved in the pre-clinical proof of concept of CUPIDO project (EU Horizon 2020), aiming to establish an unconventional and effective strategy for a non-invasive and nanoparticle-based delivery of therapeutic microRNAs to the disease heart.
