Dr. Livingstone S Luboobi Received Primary Leaving Certificate from Matale Primary School.Received Junior Leaving Certificate from Kako Junior Sec. School (Masaka) durind 1959-60.Received Cambridge Certificate of Education from Ntare School (Mbarara) during 1961-64. Received Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) Operations Research from University of Toronto and Applied Mathematics PhD in Biomathematics from University of Adelaide.Received Honorary doctorate from University of Bergen.
Livingstone S Luboobi research interests includes Mathematical Epidemiology: - modelling the dynamics and effects of diseases such as; HIV/AIDS, Malaria, TB, Measles, Trypanosomiasis, and Dengue fever, Polio, and Schistosomiasis. I also have great interests in modelling the counter effects of the Immune System and the parasites or viruses that cause these diseases. Stochastic as well as deterministic models applied to transportation systems and queues.
