Dr. LaToya Mason currently serves as Assistant Professor and Director of Obstetric Anesthesia Education in the Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) Department of Anesthesiology. The research interests includes Effects of vasoactive medications on cerebral hemodynamics in pregnancy; standardized handoffs in obstetric anesthesia; resident education; difficult airway management in obstetrics. Dr. Mason is a member of several professional societies including American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), Texas Society of Anesthesiologists (TSA), Society of Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology(SOAP), and National Medical Association (NMA).
