Biography
Jiatong Zhuo is a professor and deputy director of Guangxi Autonomous Region, Center for Disease Control and Prevention. He has spent most of his scientific career in childhood vaccine-preventable diseases. Under his effort, Guangxi's autonomous region reached the goal of being polio-free in 2000. He created this new strategy to select high-risk counties with the interval of winter epidemics of historic surveillance data and carrying mass campaigns in the subtropic area.
