Biography

Jeffrey T. Kirchner, D.O., is medical director, comprehensive care medicine for HIV at Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster, PA. He has instituted free rapid HIV screening and testing programs at clinical sites in Lancaster and has worked with the American Academy of HIV Medicine in Pennsylvania to remove written consent for HIV testing. Dr. Kirchner is working with Pennsylvania State University to expand rapid HIV testing in Lancaster County. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (Fellow), the American Academy of HIV Medicine (Board Member), the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the HIV Medicine Association. Dr. Kirchneris a reviewer for American Family Physician, Journal of Family Practice,
