Research Interest

The role of a cell adhesion molecule, METCAM/MUC18, in mediating the tumorigenesis and metastasis of breast cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer, melanoma, and nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The mechanism of transcriptional regulation of the METCAM/MUC18 gene promoter. Vaccine studies include DNA vaccines and live recombinant human adenovirus cancer vaccines.
