Georgii M. Zhidomirov

Biography

 Georgy M. Zhidomirov is a leading researcher of F.M.Prokhorov General Physics Institute (Moscow) and part-time senior researcher of M.V.Lomonosov State University from 2009 to at present. He was a leading researcher, M.V.Lomonosov State University, Moscow from 2007 to 2009. He was main researcher of G.K.Boreskov Institute of Catalysis, Novosibirsk from 2003 to 2007. He was also Head of Quantum Chemistry Laboratory, G.K.Boreskov Institute of Catalysis, Novosibirsk. He was a senior researcher,N.D.Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry, Moscow from 1969 to 1982.

 Quantum chemistry; elaboration and modification of semiempirical quantum chemical methods of calculations; quantum chemical studies of spectroscopic parameters (NMR, ESR, IR, electron spectroscopy, XANES, XPS); theory of magnetic resonance and electron spin-echo phenomena; application of quantum chemistry in surface science and molecular theory of heterogeneous catalysis
