Narasimham Parinandi (Pari) is currently an associate professor of internal medicine and pharmacology at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, Columbus, OH, USA. Pari received his PhD in Biology and Toxicology from the University of Toledo, Toledo, OH, USA in 1986 under the tutelage of Prof. Woon Jyung, an authority on zinc metabolism in plants. During doctoral training, Pari specialized in bio-inorganic chemistry and interaction of trace metals with membrane lipids in brain.
