Biography

Donald M. Cropek received Ph.D degree in analytical chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, IL, USA, in 1991. He is the Director of the Environmental Chemistry Laboratory and the Synthetic Biology Laboratory at the U.S Army Corps of Engineers, ERDC-CERL, in Champaign, IL, USA. His research interests include miniaturized sensing modalities for environmental assessment, Biosensing and Biomimetics, and smart multifunctional polymer films and coatings.
