Biography

Carolina Alonso-González is a Full Professor at the Dept. of Physiology and Pharmacology, School of Medicine, University of Cantabria. Research activity has been focused on the study of melatonin and its antitumor actions in hormone-dependent tumors such as breast cancer, as well as the ability of this indolamine to sensitize breast tumors to chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
