Biography
Dr. Ashish Kumar Jha is an associate professor of Gastroenterology in the Department of Gastroenterology, Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science, Patna, India. Experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, both adult and pediatrics, including, Endoscopic dilatations (Savary – Gillard, Balloon), Sclerotherapy (variceal & non–variceal), Haemorrhoidal sclerotherapy and band ligation, Histoacryl glue injection.
 
Research Interest

Acute on chronic liver failure, Spontaneous Bacterial Peritonitis, Hepatitis, Gastrointestinal bleeding, Endoscopic glue therapy, Pancreatic Leak, Bile Leak, Chronic Pancreatitis, Variceal Bleeding, Extra Hepatic Portal Venous Obstruction, Foreign Body Removal, Inflammatory bowel disease.
