Leukaemia

It is a bone marrow cancer leading to production of high number of abnormal white blood cells. Symptoms for such condition may include fever, bruising, bleeding, enlarged spleen and an increased risk of infections. It is diagnosed by bone biopsy and blood tests. Treatment for leukaemia may include chemotherapy, radiation therapy or bone marrow transplant.
