Kidney diseases often referred as nephropathy which is a damage of kidney. Kidney diseases include acute kidney diseases and chronic kidney diseases. Chronic kidney disease is loss of renal function progressively over period of months or years. An acute kidney disease is an infiltration of excess salts, fluids and waste materials from blood. Chronic kidney diseases are caused due to High blood pressure, Diabetes mellitus and glomerulonephritis and acute kidney diseases is caused by severe dehydration, urinary tract obstruction and acute tubular necrosis. It can be diagnosed by serum creatinine blood test or ultrasound of KUB.
