Alcoholic Hepatitis

The condition in which inflammation of liver tissue is known as hepatitis. Symptoms such has yellow discolouration of skin, loss of appetite, abdominal pain and diarrhoea leads to hepatitis. It is most commonly caused by a five different hepatitis viruses (A, B, C, D and E) namely HAV, HBV, HCV, HDV and HEV. It can be diagnosed by liver function blood test or ultrasound of abdomen. It can be prevented by hepatitis (viral hepatitis) vaccination.
