Prof. Dr. Antonio Carlos Rosário Vallinoto has a degree in Biomedicine from Universidade Federal do Pará/UFPA (1993), Brazil, Master degree (UFPA, 1996) and completed his Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Area of Biology of Parasitic and Infectious Agents, UFPA in 2001). Currently is a Holder member of the Paraense Academy of Sciences (Brazil), Associate Professor II at the Universidade Federal do Pará, where he teaches courses in Immunology and Molecular Epidemiology. Additionally, Dr. Vallinoto is the Research Director of the Pro-Rector for Research and Graduate at the UFPA. E-mail: vallinoto@ufpa.br
