Biography
Dr. Alvina is working as an Assistant Professor in Plant Biotechnology Department at NUST, Pakistan. She completed her PhD. from NIBGE, Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. Later, she did her post-doctoral research at Plant Breeding Institute, University of Sydney, Australia. Dr. Alvina's research effort encompasses using cytogenetics, molecular genetics, physiology, pathology, pre-breeding and breeding to achieve the target of development of elite wheat varieties with multiple disease resistance and stress tolerance.
