Professor Adriano Lazzarin, chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases, IRCCS San Raffaele, was born November 9, 1945 and graduated in Medicine in 1970 from the State University of Milan. He specialized in Internal Medicine in 1979, in Infectious Diseases in 1982 and constitutional Medicine and Endocrinology in 1994. Since 2000 he is Professor of Infectious Diseases at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan, where he is Director of the Postgraduate School of Diseases Infectious since 2001 and also Scientific Director for Clinical Research.
