Adenauer Marinho de Oliveira Goes is a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Vascular Surgery University. he completed his post-doctoral training in the laboratory of vascular surgery university in 2005. He was then appointed a research assistant professor of Pediatrics at the University of vascular surgery. His research interests over the past 5 years have been focused on localized vascular gene delivery and gene therapy of post-angioplasty restenosis. His current work continues exploring the concept of stents as delivery platforms for local vascular gene therapy. He also investigates magnetic field-facilitated targeting of magnetic nanoparticles to magnetizable stents as a novel paradigm of stent reloading with drugs and gene vectors.
