Abstract :

A method for the analysis of natural sour and sweet gas and H2S in MDEA Solution that is much more important for use in routine quality control analyses in gas treatment plant has been developed. A Flame ionized detector (FID) is used for natural gas hydrocarbons C1 until C6+ and thermal conductivity detector is used for the determination of H2S in both Amine (Rich and Lean) also in natural gas (Sweet and Sour). In this method we are programmed the system with capillary column and temperature, C6 and higher hydrocarbons in a short column section that can be disconnected during the analysis with reversing carrier gas action, a rapid and accurate analysis can be carried out by back-flushing.
