Vineet Bhandari

Biography

Vineet Bhandari, MBBS, MD, DNB, DM, FAAP finished his medical school from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, and then went on do his pediatric and neonatology training from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh.  Subsequently, he finished a residency in pediatrics and a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine from the University of Connecticut, USA.  He is board-certified in both by the American Board of Pediatrics.  He is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences and the Director of the Program in Perinatal Research at the Yale University School of Medicine and an Attending Neonatologist at the Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital in the USA.  He has authored over 245 book chapters, original research articles and abstracts.  He has edited a textbook entitled Manual of Neonatology.  He has presented his research in many national and international conferences.
 

Research Interest

Research Interests include Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Non-Invasive Ventilation in the Newborn, Hyperoxia-induced Injury in the Developing Lung; Neonatal Sepsis.
