Professor Ilias P. Vlachos is faculty member at Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University, UK. He holds a Ph.D. from Cranfield University, UKin Logistics & Supply Chain Management. From 2002 to early 2012, Ilias hold the position of Assistant Professor at Agricultural University of Athens while he has been over 10 years adjunct professor at Hellenic Open University, Greece.He has also collaborations with University of Liverpool, Cranfield University, UGSM-Monarch Business School- Switzerland, Oulu University Finland and Nanjing University, China. His teaching assessments are outstanding from each one university he has taught.Furthermore, Ilias has supervised numerous post-graduate dissertations in five universities during the last 15 years, including PhD supervision. His research has published peer-reviewed journals (ABS 4* & 3*). Ilias has been also active in research projects. He has managed many competitive Greek and European research projects and generated research income for the universities he served.
