Dr. Lu starts to hold a Professor Position with Chemical Biology, Metabolomics, and Chinese Medicines at The Chongqing University Innovative Drug Research Center Since June 2012, after he finished postdoctoral training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Washington University School of Medicine from 2009 to 2012. Dr. Lu got PhD degree in June 2009 at Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine. Dr. Lu’ s interests of research focus on chemical biology, functional metabolomics, and Chinese Medicines, with emphasis on dissecting pathogenesis of metabolic diseases (liver cancers and diabetes), and infectious diseases (urinary tract infections and tuberculosis), as well as elucidating therapeutic actions of natural products, small molecule drugs and Traditional Chinese Medicines at a molecular level. Over past five years, Dr. Lu has authored and co-authored 23 research papers and reviews in high-profile peer-reviewed journals, and approximate 20 conferences publications. Dr. Lu currently also serves as member of editorial board and peer-review board for a dozen of high-impact journals.
