Dr. Maheshwari earned his medical degree from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi, India, completed his residency in Pediatrics at University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, and received fellowship training in Neonatology at the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL. several trainees from his group have been recognized this year with research awards at regional and national Pediatric meetings.
He has served on the editorial boards of three professional journals and is an active or ad hoc reviewer for several other journals and grant review panels.
