Application of TILLING and Eco TILLING in Crop Improvement

Molecular breeding in Ethiopia is in a very gradual introduction process. Beyond the detail understanding and application a technique or procedure factors, establishment cost is a paramount headache. Though, these factors limit its application in Ethiopia context different molecular breeding techniques such as TILLING and Eco TILLING are coming front especially at a university levels in theoretical basis.
